"Time to Let Go" Written May 25, 2010

Tell me that you love me, 
So maybe I'll believe, 
that my life's not as bad, 
as I once thought it could be. 

I found out that 
I have a sturdy ground to stand on 
I found out, 
That I'm still strong even on my own. 

So I let go of your hand 
for the first time since we met 
Im gonna try to find myself again 
The girl that ran and hid. 

And so after all the mess. 
The broken hearts and tears. 
Time for me to start again 
With a heart that has no fears. 

It's time to let go, 
of the people who left, 
of all the walls we hit, 
and of the people who find it hard to know, 
It's time to let go. 

I wont let these tears hurt me 
Even as I cry. 
I dont care if it's forever 
but its time to say goodbye... 
instead of goodnight.
